The Collective has been instrumental in the formation of two major networks in the district - Ananta Pariyavarna Parirakshana Samithi (APPS - working on Natural Resource Management) and Voluntary Action Network - Anantapur (VANA - working on issues of VOLAGS and Drought with special emphasis on Women and Dalits in Anantapur district). The Collective is also a member of WASSAN, a watershed network in Andhra Pradesh.

Members of the Collective are also strongly associated with the local Peoples Science Movement (Jana Vignyana Vedika) and the Women's Solidarity Forum (Mahila Aikya Vedika) and its Counseling centre at Anantapur.

The founders of the Collective have been members of the Jan Vikas Andolan, a national network of voluntary organisations, mass organisations, movements, unions, intellectuals, activists, etc., since its inception.
