Coordinator – Women’s Programme
The Timbaktu Collective invites applications from women candidates for the post of ‘Coordinator – Women’s Programme’. The Collective is a registered Voluntary Organization initiated in 1990 to work for sustainable development of drought prone Anantapur District, Andhra Pradesh. The Coordinator-Women’s Programme is expected to coordinate the Collective’s work with women. The Collective has promoted women’s savings and credit Cooperatives with a total membership of about 22,500 and total turn over of about Rs 20 crores. The coordinator will support the Cooperatives in the areas of capacity building, finance management, fund raising, communication, data management and reporting.
- Passionate about women’s empowerment and Master’s Degree in Social Sciences;
- At least 3 years of work experience at top/middle level of programme management;
- Good understanding of financial and accounting systems, proficiency in computer use and good communication skills in Telugu and English – written and spoken;
- Aptitude to living in a rural setting.
Remuneration: at par with current standards in rural non-profits.
